Ark Street Manor

We are a six-bed family-owned and operated facility that offers a family atmopshere where the care is very personalized for seniors 60 years and over. Our caregivers are well trained, mature, loving and dedicated to our residents, thus creating and maintaining highly desireable and lasting personal relationships with the residents and their families. Formerly known as Three Sisters Care Home at Ark, our administrator and staff training consultant is a registered nurse with over 25 years of nursing experience (20 of those years specializing in elderly care).

Services

Our rates are affordable and largely inclusive.  We are licensed by the State of California for ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents, as well as for those with mild cognitive impairment.  All bedrooms are private, fully furnished and have emergency exits.  Should the resident so desire to maintain a familiar environment, personal furniture and possessions may be integrated.

Our services generally include:

• Three nutritious meals daily and snacks as desired
• Special diet if prescribed by a doctor
• Continuous observation, interaction, care and supervision
• Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal care
• Assistance as needed with taking of prescribed medcation
• Bedside care for minor temporary illness
• Laundry services
• Housekeeping services
• Change of linens weekly or as often as necessary
• Notification to family and other agencies of resident's needs
• Transportation to medical and dental appointments, beauty shops, and stores
• Structured daily activities, such as parties, games, discussions, movies, walks and outings, etc.
• Help with the use of the telephone
• Celebration of birthdays, holidays, and other important dates
